OUTREACH TO THE ASIAN COMMUNITY
BE INVOLVED, BE HEARD
DECISIONS ARE MADE BY THOSE THAT SHOW UP. MAKE SURE YOUR VOICE IS HEARD BY VOTING ON ELECTION DAY.
One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferior? - Plato
Elisa is very involved in the Asian Community in San Antonio. She helped found the Alamo Asian American Chamber of Commerce in 2004, and established Asian American Alliance of San Antonio (AAASA) in 2014. The AAASA is comprised of 17 Asian organizations in San Antonio area.
As a big advocate of Asian having a voice, Elisa helped found Texas Asian Republican Club, Central Texas (TARC, Central Texas) in 2015. TARC, Central Texas is a chapter member of Texas Asian Republican Assembly (TARA), which is an associate member of Texas Republican Party. Currently, she also serves on the Asian GOP Advisory Board.
After serving on San Antonio City Council, Elisa served as the Chair of Precinct Organization Committee for the Republican Party of Bexar County in 2017. During her tenure, she developed a strategic plan to engage and energize precinct chairs to get involved and grow the grassroots. Her goal is to help recruit candidates to fill precinct chairs vacancies, register new Republican voters, and increase the voter turn out.
She is the Precinct Chair for Bexar County precinct 3033, and works to increase the number of Republican voters in her precinct and get the voters to vote on elections.
